Default Stain in paint from moonroof visor.

Hello,

Recently took the moonroof visor off of my 2005 Accord (was cracked). I love the look of the car without it; however, after 8 years with it on...there is a nice little stain around the edge of where the visor used to be.

I washed my car and scrubbed the majority of the actual dirt away, but there is still a slight brownish stain in an outline of the visor.

Anyone know how I can remove this without damaging the paint?

Take it to a Quality paint shop and pose that same question to them. They would be the best source of answer for that question..

it might be glue residue from where the visor was attached? try some goo gone or some other hydrocarbon solvent and lightly rub with a cloth and then wash the car immediately after, if thats not working it may be a discoloration in the clear coat top layer, then youd need to call some paint guys if it bothers you that much...
