Request For 94-97 Steering Wheel Removal/|Answered

Hi guys!

This request is for a tutorial on removing a steering wheel properly and safely from a 94-97 Accord. Also include how to remove and replace the switches (turn signals and wipers) as well. This would be a much appreciated tutorial.

Thank you

peace out,
daddy

Disconnect battery,, make sure to have the radio code if anti-theft radio
Remove air bag assembly as follows:
Remove mounting screw covers.
Remove mounting screws using T30 Torx bit. 1 on each side
Disconnect electrical connectors, then remove air bag assembly. When storing a removed air bag assembly, ensure pad is facing upward .\

Ensure steering wheel is in a straight ahead position, then remove steering shaft nut or bolt. i think that it is a 19 mm nut ,,
wheel might just come off if you pull up on it.,, if not,,, use steering wheel puller.Do not tap on wheel or steering column shaft when removing wheel .
.
the switches are pretty easy just remove the screws and unplug the electrical connectors
