I was wonderin on a hydro clutch in a 96 accord lx can u adjust the pedal hiegth mine is like high to middle of swing would like it closer to the bottom end of swing all help would be appreciated. Thanx SCOOT

Shown in the picture below,there are 2 nuts used to adjust the pedal height.To adjust the clutch pedal height, loosen the locknut on the clutch switch until it no longer touches the pedal. Then loosen the locknut on the clutch pushrod. Turn the pushrod to adjust pedal height then tighten the locknut. Turn the switch until it contacts the pedal arm, then turn it an additional 3/4 turn. Tighten the lock nut.

You should also pay close attention to the clutch free play,to my knowledge it should be around 10mm of free play,so have your ruler ready.

thanx for the info have couple of more ?'s can u tell me how to find out what tranny i have like the # or series and also would my tranny that is hooked to a f22b2 in a 96 lx mate w/ a f23a1 vtec out of a 98 lx auto waitin to hear back and thanx again SCOOT
Oh and u say 10mm from where i know it's prob a novice ? but really always been a domestic motor guy u know 350 chevy boy till now...

Serial number could be found on the transmission itself,as far as swapping transmissions.F series are interchangable because its almost the same motor,but you want to switch your manual transmission to an auto?

nope it was in an auto just didn't know if my 5 speed would mate to it and i found the owners mannul and it show's me right were to find tranny # thanx a-ton tho SCOOT

If you slightly press on your clutch with one finger,you should notice a bit of play,called "free play" this is normal and should be around 10mm distance back and forth without putting pressure.
