shift control cable question
the manual says there will be two holes that should align with an inner hole so am i seeing this right? i don't wanna mess it up if i should just leave it alone. would you guys agree that my cable is completely off alignment because i see no inner holes at all inside the two side holes of the adjuster.
just put a jdm tranny in so it could have easily screwed this up http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1488/032709221300.jpg http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/5191/032709221301.jpg http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1194/032709221302.jpg http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1488/032709221300.th.jpg view from the drivers side http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/5191/032709221301.th.jpg birds eye view of where i took out lockpin http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1194/032709221302.th.jpg view from passenger side, basically looks the same as the drivers. no sign of hole on the inner cable |
If the lock pin goes in and the tranny shifts, it's fine.
