05 Accord I4 jerk while switching
 
Hello, I just bought my 05 Honda Accord I4 a few weeks ago and everything was fine. Lately I noticed that when I go from reverse into drive, the car lags for 2 seconds and then jerks a little forward, then I am able to drive. I'm not that great with cars, can anyone tell me what might be wrong with it? Is it serious?

Ummm, you either have a 2005 Accord V6 or a 2005 Accord I4. Which is it?

As for your transmission issues, it sounds like the transmission fluid level might be a little low.

Im sorry I meant 2005 Accord I4. oh really, do you happen to know which type of transmission fluid to use? if not I could probably look it up haha

Probably best if you check the level first before adding any. :)

As for the type, your car uses Honda ATF-DW1.
