1990 exr

Hey everybody

I just got a 1990 exr with 220,000k/m, what sould i have replaced to make the cars performance improve. Also what type of muffler would sound good. How do i check the transmision fluid, its the 5speed. What is the real difference with the exr, are there any physical differences b/w the other accords?

Not sure what the real differences are.... However, standard performance items (to start with) are Intake, Headers and Exhaust I/H/E.... Tranny fluid, there is a fill plug on the tranny towards the firewall, remove it and make sure the fluid level is up to or just shy of the base of the opening, your finger works good as a dipstick for this.... Mufflers: what do you want it to sound like? flowmaster is a good sound but it's LOUD, Apexi WS II is a great catback for accords and sounds good too, OBX makes a decent one for a cheap price....

got a 1992 EX, basiclly the same except bigger motor and cosmetic differences...but AEM cold-air, DC Sports 4-2-1 header, GReddy EVO2 full cat-back. VERY nice aggressive sounds during accel, but not obnoxious while cruising. Also the suction on the cold air will sound like a small turbo durign shifting.
