1993 Accord Ex question
I have a used 1993 Accord Ex manual. The original engine was a F 22A6 140 hp engine. The engine in it isn't original, its an engine out of a 1990 Accord, engine code F 22A4 130 hp engine. This engine has a cold air intake and an Active brand header on it, what do you think the horsepower would be with these added engine mods? How much does this intake and header add to the stock 130 hp engine??? It feels pretty quick, my friend with a new 07 Civic Si says he will blow me away, is this true??? Don't want to look silly racing him with his K20 197 hp 07 Civic Si. What do you all think??? Thanks much guys.

RE: 1993 Accord Ex question
You'll lose. Assuming that header is the only thing you've done to your car, that's not enough horspower to overtake the civic. Not only that, your car is a 1993, it has lost some power over the years and its probably not running at those specs anymore where his is brand new. If I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up on beating him although racing is largely driver-based.
