1995 Vtec motor in a 1992 Accord EX?
 

My 1992 accord has a bottom-end noise, sounds like a rod or rod bearing taking a dump on me. There's a local guy on craigslist is selling a 1995 accord motor/trans, ECU, harness, etc etc and I think i can get it for a couple hundred bucks. First things first, I'm going to check out the bottom end of my 92 motor, and if it's a small deal, i'll fix it and just keep running.

But, if the 92 motor is down for the count, I'd like to swap the 95 in. Does anybody know if the 95 motor is a direct swap? Will I need the transmission from the 95 as well, and how ugly would THAT swap be? Thanks guys!
