1996 Accord LX.....VTEC??
 
I have a 1996 Accord LX 4 door, all stock except exhaust. Is this motor ahve VTEC?? It doesn't say on the motor, but i was reading in the manual that it did have it on the LX motor or is it just on the EX? I just would like to know thanks.

Nope, you've got no v-tec there... just plain old raw engine! What exhaust do you have on there?

I wouldn't worry that you don't have Vtec. Accords are reliable and powerful. If you want to pimp your ride up there are a number of knowledgeable people on here that can help you.

I wouldn't worry about not having Vtec. Accords are powerful and reliable. There are a number of knowledgeable people in this forum that can help you pimp your ride if you want to.

I got a megan racing N-1 style muffler (love the look and sound) and had a muffler shop do custom piping from the cat-back

if i were you get a F20b instead of a H22...you'll get more power outta F20 than a H22

If by power you mean horsepower, then you are potentially correct. But the H22 makes better torque than the F20B, which is what a heavier car (like an Accord) needs to get going.
