Thanks. from here put your vin in and it will tell you settlement becomes final in december if everything goes according to plan (it should have no snags or this site would not be there) WWW.HONDATRANSMISSIONSETTLEMENT.COM Call HOA and tell them about your problem and that you understand that there is a proposed settlement in this case that extends the warranty to 7 years and 9 months or 109K whichever comes first. |

I believe Transmission class action suit has been approved. Can someone confirm that? So i just bring my accord to the dealer to get the transmissoin fixed for free ifit fitsthe requirements.

click on the above link for VIN validation and that will tell you If it's covered, or just call the local dealer and tell them what you have going on.... it looks like the case settled on Dec 28 of 06

my gf 99 accord poped up with codes p0700 p0730 i was wondering if that means she must replace the tranny or if anyone knows what else it could be thanks

Welcome to HAF.
There might be a few things you can try? Sorry to say but the auto trans in the 98-02 Accord's are not the best....get one older or newer and they are what you expect from a Honda. |
