2000 honda accord question!?!

im looking into buying a 2000-03 accord w/v6 vtec! im having a hard time finding one w/ a manual for my price. but im looking into doing some extra work if needs be. i was wondering if any one was familure w/the v6 vtec that it came with. if so could you mabe name aome mod's or ideas of engine swaps? i can get my self a full running b18c1 and tranny from a 96 gsr with 70,xxx miles on it from a friend. i was wondering if that would be a better set up or would the v6 vtec be better?
should i look mabe into acura tl or tsx swaps? i here that they are great motors( v6 w/6sp manuals) or build the 3.0L v6 it comes with?

i know that the 1998-2002 v6 models have no manual tranny's, you can put an acura 6 speed tranny or just put that 3.2l in there. the accord v6 are 3.0l and have 200hp. as for that b18.... i dont no what it can do but i know but i know a v6 can do better. thats all for now

just as pete said 00-02 v6 come w/ AT a very crappy AT, and a j30... the 03' v6 has the j32 and comes w/ manual 6speed (opt.). i don't think you should get a b18 for an accord, they are too heavy. if your looking for performance, accord might not be the smartest way to go; but if you're looking for reliability and comfort and all-around good car, then go ahead w/ the accord. if your budget permits, go w/ the 03' 6spd manual... but just so you know, that car's header comes welded into the hole engine.
