2006 Accord V-6 AT OIL plug acting funny..

I have an issue with my oil plug tightening. The threads on the plug and the threads inside the pan appear to be ok with no signs of stripping. When I tighten the plug it spins and spins and eventually will get tight but doesnt seem to get tight enough.

Are the threads insind the pan an inserted "sleeve" that is pressed in? That would explain why it's doing what it's doing to me? Any thoughts on this?

It drips about a tablespoon of oil overnight..

Thanks

You say "V-6 AT OIL" in your title, but you seem to be talking about the engine's oilpan plug.

Either way, I don't think it's a separate sleeve, so there must be some damage somehow.

Have you looked to see if ther is still a plastic or aluminium washer between it and the pan?
