92 Honda Accord wagon. Code 9 No.1 cylinder position sensor
 
No.1 cylinder position sensor

I have a 92 Honda Accord wagon automatic and I have a code 9 ( No.1 cylinder position sensor)
My distributor have 5 wires on it ..so my cyp is not in there ...do anyone know where I can find it ...


So this is what happen to my car I was pulling out my driveway and it shut off my starter , battery ,and alternator all died so I replaced them and ny car won't start so I put a paper clip in my reader and got a code 9 ( No.1 cylinder position sensor) but I can find it no where .....HELP PLEASE it's been 3 weeks now and I Google and search every where

You need to get a new distributor

I did that 2 times and it still doesn't work I check for spark to in the spark plugs I'm good there my fuel pump work , I put in a new main reley switch ... Anything else and also my distributor has 5 wires

When you put the distributor in what steps did you take

None really I just made sure it was lined up and I understand hook the battery to erase the code but nothing still ..did I miss something

You need to set your timing. If your replaced your distributor and it doesn't start the timing needs to be set. Also make sure the 2 cables were plugged back in. Your CYP is a part of the distributor so the CYP has been replaced.

Not to sound crazy but my timing belt (TDC) or can I use a timing light

When you put the distributor in were you at tdc or just marked the location of the dial. No need for the timing light.

So i check it and it's all lines up
