'96 timing belt need help
 

Ok so I went ahead and did a head gasket replacement myself and I got everything reattached to the car. Awesome finally did that myself!! Go to put the key in the ignition, turn the key and it sounds like it wants to start but wont. I believe somewhere during the job I threw the timing off. Great -_-. Then I find this nifty video showing how to replace the belts and time it (Obviously on need the timing part, belt is fine.) So I do this process of aligning the cam to TDC and then setting up the timing belt then the balancer belt. I then turned the crankshaft pulley 2-3 full rotations to make sure the alignment is there and it appeared to be. What is it that Im doing wrong I have done this process like 5-6 times now and I cant get the damn car to start???

Car Spec: '96 EX with the F22B1 engine (think so spark plugs towards intake)

If anyone were around the Casselberry, FL 32707 area maybe swingin by to help or give me some better advise would be fantastic!

actually I think its the F22B2 because my engine looks just like this (Same with the layout of everything else.)

You never said whether you have confirmed timing of crankshaft and camshaft are good. Are they? I did not watch 17 min video to see.

Did you remove the distributor? Not absolutely necessary, but perhaps for other reasons. It is possible to install distributor 180 deg off and engine will not start. Distributor mating to cylinder head will be slightly cocked on one side.

Have you checked that spark is being generated? A timing light is handy to check by attaching inductive pickup to each lead. No spark if no flash from timing light.

Need to confirm spark, timing (by the belts) and then be sure when it is a TDC #1 the dist rotor is pointing to the #1 terminal on the cap.....then be sure that wire is going to #1 cyl. The order is 1-3-4-2 from there on the cap.

Next, is the fuel pump priming when the key is turned to "on"/pos II.

Next, since the head was off, there is a very important ground connection on the drivers end of the tb/plenum - G101. It needs to be clean and tight.
