The photos attched show what i found when i went to pull out my tcm. I was told that the silver box was the tcm. However when i was looking up how much a new one might cost everything i found said that the tcm should be a bronze box. But i didnt not find one in my car. So am i missing my tcm and if so what is suppose to plug into it? Because the four plugs in the picture were all plugged into the silver box

Based on my experience w/ 94 Accord EX and available manuals I have, the TCM is missing. It mounts on a protective shell/bracket w/ the ECM. See attachments from 94EX manual. If correct there should be additional connectors for TCM.

good luck

For a 97' 4 cylinder with auto transmission, there is no separate TCM. Just an integrated PCM (Powertrain Control Module).

A '97 V6 with automatic transmission has both an ECM and a TCM.
