Accord v6 stick shift-please help!
Hey guys. I have a 2000 accord v6 coupe and it is an automatic. Ive done some improvements here and there but I've had the car for some time. I got it for my first car and it's been about 3 years. I now want a stick shift. 5speed or 6 but I still like my car better then most cars out there and I want to keep it. I wanna know if there is any way to Make my car a stick shift and still keep it a v6. I know you can put a 4cyl engine and tranny into it but I like the power of the v6. My generation accord does not come with a v6 stick only 4cyl. Any help or advice on what to do.

you need a 03+ accord/acura 6speed trans. This swap will be costly. Doin it on a 4 cyl ran me just about 1k for the swap. So keep that price range in mind. Also that price was JUST PARTS...not labor. I did all the labor myself. Now something I will tell ya is it will be such a PITA to do this swap with a engine in the bay. I did mine with my engine and trans pulled from my engine bay. If really interested I can give you some links for the swap...they will be for the 4cyl swap but just about everything applies.

If you can find a crash car at the junkyard with a Honda/Acura V6 with stick shift would be your best bet, because you can get all the parts that you want for the swap right there.
