RE: Apexi AFC NEO

AFC would be more helpful on a modified car beyond intake header exaust and it doesnt change the fact you would need dyno tuning for that extra 5 hp.... not very cost effective in the end

ok i have no idea whats an afc is or what the definiton is for a modified car. all the performance ive done is an aem sri a stainless steel 4-2-1 header and a magnaflow cat back with 2.25" pipes

RE: Apexi AFC NEO

AFC = Air Fuel Controller is modify an existing signal at certain rpm levels to lean out or richen the fuel mixture, ie to help produce the ideal combustion to create the most hp and at times improve fuel efficiency. But it is something that requires tuning to get the most out of and unless you’re running with a lot more then what you’ve changed on the car, it won’t help you much.

Having Apexi AFC NEO as a subject without doing a little research on what it is seems kind of counter productive. Don’t you think you should find out what something is before you ask if it will help?
