Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to buy a honda accord (coupe & automatic)2003/04 EXL in the coming weeks. I'm stuck on which engine type to choose, the 4 or the V6. I wanted to ask about the difference in fuel consumption? Are they both just as easy to sell? And other advantages of the V6 that makes most people choose it over the 4 Cylinder? Depends on what kind of driver you are. If it's an automatic, I'd personally get a V6 because gas isn't that big of a deal for me. You can leave it stock and it'll have pretty decent speed. But if you're more into gas consumption and you just use cars for transportation you're better off getting the 4 cylinder. Just make sure you get the EX fully loaded one to ensure most comfort and accessories in your car. They're both not too difficult to sell, depending on who comes around to look at your car. Another thing about V6 is the dual exhaust which looks cool.

 

i4's are easier to mod and you can do more stuff to them. but if ur not planning on modding your car, then i would get the v6 for reasons that pyaarawala stated.

 

Thanks for your help. Do you guys know in terms of numbers, say percentage, how much more fuel, on average the V6 uses??

 

Another thing on the7th gen i4's is they got a timing chain instead of a timing belt...that to me is a plus as the timing belt replacement is quite expensive.
