So I bought a B17A1 yesterday long block still runs and its carbon free its so clean and im thinking about building it N/A and dropping it into my 91 lx coupe what do you guys think and yes im redoing everything in the motor

 

Can’t do it. accord it way to heavy...accords don’t have b series in the b/c they are torque less POS.

Is it the b17 gsr? did you get the full engine? If it's the dohc gsr engine keep it and build it for a hatch! The b17gsr is very rare my boy has one and we build up close to 200whp...they are really good engines if it's the gsr of course. Just be sure if you do keep it match it up with another gsr trans cus the LS trans suck on thos engines. Alot of ppl rather have the b17 gsr over a b18 gsr even know they make less power. still cool engines...and I don't like b series engines but I like this one.

 

ya its a gsr it came out of a 92 it was wrecked and the kid owed my friend money so he took that motor and sold it to me for 300 bucks haha no tranny though just complete block/head

 

they are good engines build it up and buy a hatch or better yet a crx. they are little rev happy engines. They can make some numbers...b series trans really need LSD added.
