nothing

Guess from the description, the first one is an addon ground strap of some sort, probably for your battery, giving it multiple ground points on the chassis.

The second, again guessing by the description, is basically a line conditioner for your electrical system. Probably a capacitor type. It will keep the output from the battery (?) or alternator (?) at a nice even 12V.

I would highly doubt any of the claims made, unless you had an old car with a decaying charging/electrical system.

According to the info at the site you gave:
1. PREVENT POWER LOSS.2. ENSURE TOP PERFORMANCE OF IGNITION.3. INCREASES THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.4. LOWER THE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE.5. GAINS INSTANT HORSEPOWER 8-10 HP.6. STABILIZES THE ENGINE AT HIGH RPM'S.7. SMOOTHER IDLING & IGNITION STARTING.8. BETTER FUEL CONSUMPTION WITH IMPROVED COMBUSTION.9. IMPROVES QUALITY OF SOUND SYSTEM.If you go to www.mazda626.net do a search on ground wires. I installed two extra ground wires on my 98Mazda 626 auto. I agree with point #3 above as it just is logical but I was having some transmission problems that I believed was due to the computer in the car. I haven't had transmission problems since installing ground wires. If you read the info on the mazda 626 site adding the extra ground wires cost less than $10 so it's a cheap way of finding out if points 1-9 are actually true. I would say mostly. As a car starts to age, so does it's wiring. The electrical connections that get air exposure will start to tarnish, get dirty, etc. This will reduce the effectiveness of the electrical system. In this sort of case, yes, adding one or both of this products would be a help. However, it would probably be just as effective to go around and clean all the electrical contacts you can get to, paying special attention tot he battery cables, terminals, and any already installed ground straps. It will take a little longer than installing one of the kits, probably get your hands messier, and may not look as "cool".

While I could be wrong, I believe both products are basically bandaids.

ok cars are notoriously bad for haaving bad grounding issues... on NORMAL engines this would benifit greatly... but sadly a K series engine is a Coil On Plug engine so that peice of work would not be good for us... Theres a Way that u can go threw and ground out each of our coil packs and it will actualy increase HP 3-7 HP

RE: Benefits of Ground Wire?

but either way, newer cars it doesnt give hp.... but this only holds true if the wires arent bad/corroded or whatever..... older cars you can regain some lost hp because bad ground wires nerfs the capability of the engine and electronics that it use to have when it was new. You will see writeups of people doing a looped ground wire across their whole engine bay...... thats pointless, you either want a clean contact to the chassis or a ground distribution block. Anything more then that you are just wasting wire or just doing something for looks that doesnt really enhance the looks

to add.... this is for cars without coilpacks..... granted i dont know how the coilpacks would have a crappy ground to begin with
