Big Decision

Okay, so I asked this question on the 6th generation accord forums, and got two answers. So what decision I am faced with is either...

1. Swapping my engine with a J32 (If so I'm not sure which one to go with, like the J32A2, so on) and getting a 6 speed tranny

or

2. Swapping my engine with a JDM H22A and getting a 5 speed swap

If I can't decide between the two, I'll just mod the J30A1 engine I already have. So what do you think I should do? I won't be able to make any major modifications for a while (about 2 years because I am going to UTI, so I will have no time to mod my car or not have a car because of a major mod). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. Swapping a J32 is likely, likely to cost you more than your accord is worth.
-Motor
-Tranny
-Master cylinder
-pedals
-Linkage
-new mounts
-Ecu

List goes on..

2. H22 swap, has to be OBD2, for legal reasons. Likely to run you cheaper than the j32 swap, but more unlikely to fit correctly, as v6 mounts are in complete different locations of the H22. Also the 98-02 v6 are a bit longer than the I4.

Bottom line, The more realistic swap will be an acura cl-s 6 speed swap. My $0.02 If your going to spend big money, and i mean big, then i would go ahead and buy a better car. Just to save yourself the money, time, and headaches.

Plenty of info online for both swaps.

Good luck
