Cold running Accord

Has some one else had a problem with there car not heating up in the mornings ? I have a 2008 Honda Accord 2.2 Dtec ES GT(Nav)and I can drive for up to 11miles before it starts to give any heat into the car.
With joining the rush hour traffic I never get to drive at more than 30 MPH and when it is -2 to -5degrees outside. I have found it to be unacceptabe especially in this day and age and you cant blame it on being a diesel as I have driven them for the past 10 years and never been as cold as I am in the Honda......Help!!!:(

Check to make sure your thermostat isn't stuck open. I guess it should be under warranty.

If your runnin in an 08 you probably have "auto" climate comtrole like mine. The "auto" feature on the climate control will wait till the engine warms up to turn on. If you take it off of auto and just pick your mode you want ( vent, floor, vent and floor, etc.) it will come on instantly weather the engine is hot or not. Hope this helps.
