Crank no start
I have a 93 accord f20a5 sohc it stopped going one day the mechanic said it was the coil. I replaced the dizzy which has the coil and igniter in it, still no spark the fuses are good its has power to dizzy no spark could it be cambelt slipped over or any ideas?

You can check the camshaft timing by taking off the upper timing cover. Pretty easy so you may as well check it. But if the non-start is caused by cam timing, I expect you'd recognize the sound of cranking the engine with no compression.
I would chase down problems in the wiring between the distributor & the ECM as a more likely culprit. How about the distributor you put in it? EXACT match? New distributor DOA out of the box? |
