Cylinder Head
I've got an F22B2... Could I replace mine with a H22x cylinder head? I'm not 100% sure how it works but I know the displacement must be the same. Do the number of overhead cams have to be the same... I have SOHC and the H engines are DOHC or could I in some way convert to DOHC by buying 2 camshafts and installing a H22x cylinder head?

Yes you can put on a H22x head. I don't know the details of which ones are compatible, or what all you have to do. Search for "G-series" or "G-22" because that's a common slang for that combination of F-block with H-head. Also called a frankenstein.
You'll need lots of stuff. Probably an ECU from an H-engine, some wiring harness mods, etc. |
Also need H22 crank pully, H22 timing belt, intake and exhaust manifold and possibly even some machining work. All in all you wont make that much more power, and probably be cheaper to just buy an H22.
