Do I need to replace water pump (07 Accord 4 cylinder)

My 07 Accord (4 cylinder) has hit 105,000 miles. The maintenance indicator is on and the manual says 'replace the timing belt', but I know 07 accord is equipped with a timing chain that isn't required a service for the life time.

I just wanted to know if I will need to replace the water pump this time?

Correct, the 4 cylinder has the timing chain. However, you still have the drive belt. You may want to change the drive belt at 105,000 miles if it has never been changed.

You don't necessarily need to change the water pump unless there was a problem. The water pump is easily accessible on the drive belt side.

Yeah, water pump is basically a replace when needed issue. It's fairly inexpensive and mine lasted forever on the last accord I had for 9 years before this one.
