Engine dress up questions
so I have been working on cleaning up my engine bay and making it look really, so atleast one part of my car does lol. anyway i had some questions about parts.
I wanna get new radiator hoses that are either colored or braided stainless. more or less i wanna get inexpensive without totally sacrificing quality. any ideas? i was looking at the blue silicon hoses at TAS auto. I have seen them for other cars but not the accord. does anyone know if i can purchase accessory belts that are colored? blue preferably. alternator and power steering. also does anyone reccomend anything that would make the engine just generally more appealing? resevoir caps, painting, etc. thanks! :) |
Maybe over in the Appearance forum?? I don't know, I've never looked for colored belts. Check places like Summit Racing??

first off, don't do color hoses. It will look like crap. I like to call them clown snakes. First thing to do, is clean it. Clean it very good. A few painted items won't hurt, fuse cover, a few plastic pieces, valve cover. Then go for a few stainless hoses. Leave all others stock and black, just shine them up a bit. You can get a nice battery tie down, rad cap, dipstick, etc. Just please, don't make it look like a smurf threw up under your hood.

HKS or Mugen makes a blue colored timing belt, that's about it.
