Engine Hessitating

I have a 2008 Honda Accord. 4 cyl. auto with GPS. I was driving some long freeway miles yesterday (about 150) and as I was hitting around 80 MPH when the car started to chug and hesitate. I was losing all drive abilities like it was running out of gas but the tank was 3/4 full. The dashboard lights were fully illuminated and never flickered so i figured that it wasn't electrical. The hesitating lasted about 15-20 seconds then went away. Is this possible bad gas or clogged fuel injectors?

Get a check-engine light? If so, go to some AutoZone-type place to read the error code. Get the actual number, not just the guys explanation.

Otherwise, it might bebad gas. Clogged fuel injectors dont usually heal by themselves.

Thanks Jim. No error light came up. I usually put regular in it per owners manual. Would it be advisable to use premium gas every once in a while or put in some fuel injector cleaning mixture to gas? Hate to take it in. It's never done that before but the car is relatively new too.

Id wait & see if it ever happens again.
I use Techron occasionally (20k miles or more) but thats without any specific problem event. Theres better cleaners out there.

I wouldnt bother using premium gas. Unless its a junk-gas station, regular should be as clean as premium, and your car should not benefit from the octane.

Pay close attention to whether it ever does that again. If so,Id want to catch it while its still under warranty.
