F23 swap in Gen 5

This is my first engine swap that im making thats why im asking to many ? do you recomen me putting the f23 manifold i have it

I ran an F22B manifold on my F23 swap, worked like a dream.

Any idea on how i can solve my idle problem change the iacv but still keeps going up qnd down

Default help with IAC valve wires

Is there a way to wire a 2 prong connector from a 96 in to the IAC Valve on the 98 three prong female?

Not to my knowledge. Even if you could wire it somehow, the OBD2a ECU couldn't operate the 3-wire IACV.

So i did the f23 vtech swap on my 94 accord lx 5 speed non vtech i used the f22 harnnes and manifold it was running ok untill 3 days my cel turn on i got the code and it gives me code 4... Now i know i need to change the ecu dont know wat ecu to get from wat car and when i change the ecu will mu cel go away someone help pls

I don't have any experience swapping an F23 into an OBD1 car but I have a few questions:
  • What distributor and coil are you using, the ones from the F22?
  • What ECU are you using, the original one from your car or a different one?
  • Did you wire up the VTEC solenoid valve and VTEC oil pressure switch?
  • Other than the CEL code 4, is the car running OK?

I used a chipped P28 ECU (I used to chip them and tune them myself). Then I just ran a stock map for an F23 with slight tweaks. Ran super strong with no problems.

I guess I never realized how fortunate I was with how strong it ran. Now I'm seeing everyone's having problems with the swap and it makes me wish I still had my car lol

Im using the same distributor and coild offthre f22... I still have on the same ecu that was with the f22 and no i didn not wire the vtech i have not done it dont know how to do it and because i wanted to change the ecu first... and when the code 4 appear i felt it kind off lags it on some gears

From wat car could i get the ecu and how could i do the tune it and wire it
