Getting a parts car... need help
 

So I need some advice... a friend of ours has a 1994 accord exwith about 250000mi on it... i have a 1997 accord dxwith 140000mi... our friend is tossing theirs and I know they sunk a lot of money into it so I want to strip it as much as I can... and suggestions of what I can take that might be nice for my car? My tranny is driving like garbage, if hers drives nicely is it worth switching with that kind of mileage? Do you think I could switch door components like power windows? Or am I gettng beyond myself? Tell me what you think! The body of the car is falling apart though.

i would swap your motor for theirs, and use their car instead. youll have power everything, ABS, sunroof maybe, leather maybe i dunno, other**POOP* that would be a pain in the**BUTT** to swap. its just not feasable to transfer that stuff when you could swap motors and have a way better car. other than the fact it wont be vtec anymore, the body is what will last longer, not the motor ;)

lol sorry admin. oh ok, how bad is it falling apart? can you be more specific? if its bad enough, yeah id keep the DX too.

It's rusted through all over... I got hit recently in the dx so I did a lot of body stuff and it looks quite nice now...
