Guaranteed horsepower for $2000 on V6?
Looking to spend $2K to get some extra horses, maybe close to 300 WHP....what do I need to buy in terms of 'bolt-ons' for my 2013 Touring V6? Thanks,HB

You're willing to spend $2,000 for an extra 22 horsepower? Doesn't sound like a very good investment if you ask me.

I think that the 278 that Honda claims is actually crank horsepower....I am talking wheel horsepower, which is considerably less. Thanks,HB

I'm thinking there is no way you're going to get anywhere near close to 300 WHP for only $2,000.

Given that Honda is very good at extracting power from their engines, I strongly suspect nothing short of forced induction will give you that much extra power without opening up the engine.

I've heard that the updated cats and J pipe will "free up" a few extra HP?

I would personally not touch it. You are asking for trouble. If speed is your desire, try a domestic ride and modify it, like a big block chevelle or el camino , camaro , mustang, but to each his/her own. Good luck.
