Its hard to give you an exact figure, especially with the lack of details such as what block, what pistons, what head etc.

I personally would be leery buying someone else's put together, esp knowing its been boosted. And I'm guessing its already out of the car so you can't see it run.

It seems like it was done right, but its hard to say. Without a turbo I would guess less than 200hp, but its really hard to say.

I will just say most people don't part out working cars.

hmm, thats a good point, i mean i want to run boost, and buying an engine thats built for it already just seems so tempting lol. i guess it'd be better to just do it myself to make sure its done right?

Well its not a huge investment if something is wrong, because if I'm reading it correctly just the engine is $550, which is less than an h22 itself costs. So maybe its worth a shot, but I would still give it a thorough look over and compression test it before buying.

To build an engine like that, not including the cost of the engine, you are easily looking at over $2000 just in parts and machining, then paying someone to put it together if you weren't planning on doing it yourself.

yeah i already talked to him, and its 500 now, thats what attracted me to it. like i know until i get a turbo it'll be lacking a little compared to stock h22, but i definetly plan to boost, and since this one has everything done already i almost jumped at it lol.
