RE: H22a??????????

Well the h22a is a honda engine that was put in the honda prelude, Also a version of the h22 was also but in the honda acccord type r

A normal h22a has arond 200hp and 160ftlb torque.

Its not a turbo it is complete NA motor. Yes we all heard of h22a put into light CRX and turboing it, Getting 10sec drag cars or faster.

IN you case since you have a 07 accord you might want something more in the K seris engine that prduces 200hp, Like the TSX engine, or rsx type s engine. Doesnt seem worth it to go backwords when you can go forwards. PLus putting a h22 in your 07 would need i imaginedecent custom work. If you want some real great power gains , turbo you current engine, Iave heard 10psi could give you alsomt 300hp

ok tnxs alot do you have any turbos in mind cause ive asked the same question on the turbo part of this forum and no replys and ive been svaing up but i doubt i will have enough money to buy a new engine and new turbo and all that stuff so would it be better to just upgrade my current engine?

either way you look at it its going to cost alot of money

Turbos put a huge tax on your engine, where as a h22 makes alot of power reliably

I personally am going H22(should have my engine by the end of the month:D)

just for a rough estamate, engine, install, and all other parts i will probably spend over 3 grand to have a h22 in my car.

on the other hand, i choose 2 go turbo, u see, there's just different opinions and tastes... in ur case, u may wanna make sure how much $$$ ur willing to spend on ur car and then choose what to do w/ it... If u don't wanna spend 2 much, go for the basics: intake, header and exhaust... still gonna cost u around $400.... u might want to take a look on ebay... cheaper and good stuff sometimes...

I think from the way your talking and asking questions, you need to keep reading.

you might not be getting any responses in the Turbo section because you don't have the proper info in your signature.

x2. Go to www.google.com andtype your questions inthe search engine.
By the initial question I am guessing you have an '07 Accord.
If you want to go turbo, either you have to do it yourself, or you will be spending upwards of $3,000. An engine swap would be even more.
