H22A OBD2

I have a question if I buy this http://www.sunrisejdmmotors.com/engi...d=6&page=1 it comes with Complete Engine - 5-Speed Transmission - ECU - Intake Manifold - Exhaust Manifold - Distributor - Alternator - Starter - A/C Compressor - Power Steering - Throttle Body - Clutch - Fly Wheel - Pressure Plate.
Basically almost all I would need for the swap. But I have one question because I have a reg. F23A1 Auto tranny accord, this swap will just replace all that with a H22A1 and a 5 speed tranny?

RE: H22A OBD2

You would need a few more things, such as the 5spd engine mounts. And the H22 is a cable tranny, and I believe the f23 is a hydraulic tranny, so you would need the shift linkage off a older Accord. Thats all I can think of right now.

To pay for a shop to do that kind of job? It would be insane, I would think at least 2k in labor alone.

F23 uses cables just like the H22. Only needs to modify the driver's side mount. In order to get it to run right you'd need to swap to 5spd obviously, find the P13 OBD2 ecu w/ no immobilizer, or swap to OBD1. Have fun wiring that up.

BLEH!...... Just Find ap13 w/o imobilizer b/c I don't think it'll pass inspection with OBD1 anyways, besides that's a hassle and labor for an engine swap is around1k . Just make sure you have ALL your partsand wiring done prior

All depends on the shop you take it to for labor, I know most Fseries accords book around 18-19 hours for long block swap, so averaga shop time is 100/hr, easy math on hourly rate. And I would guess they will flag more hours for a swap depending on how they do it. Certianly to install new pedal assemply for the five speed.. Have fun.

You are answering threads that have been dead for years.

sorry, when I put my seach in an attempt to find an answer without starting a re peat thread this was in the top of the list. Maybe a moderator should remove it or something, or design a way for it not to be on a current search. Glad to know someone will point out a date over sight before helping with an enire new thread.
