Help! My motor does not appear in any service manual
So, long story short. My dad and i have a 1982 Accord with automatic transmission and the motor, after almost 30 years could'nt keep up any more, so we bought a new motor a A20A2 2.0 carburated. Whats the problem? Well, the problem is that no matter what service manual we use to look for reference there are inconsistencies. The only way i can put that in perspective is with images (the colored
vacuum hoses are actually conected, because we want a good cold start, right now it barely works, cuz we cant figure how the are suposed to go in out motor). Thanks and sory if i wrote something wrong, in from argentina but im learning. https://scontent-b-mia.xx.fbcdn.net/...34070727_o.jpghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...f9e360536bf615 |
There may be a download manual link under the "Online Manuals" post in DIY section of this site.
My sympathies:( Those 80's accords vacuum systems were a tangled spaghetti arrangement of tubes. Is there no vacuum diagram under the hood? It might be helpful to explore the vacuum lines by system; EGR, starting, choke?, etc where there may be a separate system diagram in the manual. good luck |
