Hey I really like my Accord's body and how it drives and I want to get more out of it so I was wondering if it's worth upgrading the j30 since it's auto, or is it better to just do a swap? If it would be better to swap, what fits in the engine bay? Thanks.

Does it matter what model he has?...its a J30.....I/H/E/Pullies/Supercharger or Nitrous or Turbo...or swap to J32/J35 and 6spd is what the typical response is gonna be.

 

Yeah but if he has a 4cyl, a J30 swap would not even be worth wasting his time thinking about

 

I just realized a misunderstood the question. I thought he was asking if a J30 swap was worth it.Didn't realize he already had a J30. I guess I forgot how to read. I'm such a tard.

To answer the question, I have a J30 with no distributor and have everything but nitrous, supercharger, e-manage and MSD. My car is right at the 7.0 second mark getting up to 60 mph. Considering that stock is 8.2 sec, it's not bad, but if you want REAL power, the tranny can't take it. The problem here is the tranny, not the engine!

 

Alright so what would you guys suggest? Is it worth a swap or should I look into a different car?
