I don't see why it wouldn't almost a complete bolt in affair. A few wires/sensors may be in different but I can't see it being that hard to figure out. You'd have to get the ECU and TCU from the wrecked accord and the VIN so you can have your keys reprogrammed to the new ECU, if that's even possible at the dealership.

I dont think the engine would fit unless you have some custom work done.
If you are going to swap in a 7th gen v6 engine get the j30A5 since it has no tranny defects. The tranny still has problems up to 04.
But if you do get a j20A4 make sure it comes off of a 05.

Don't forget to check for all the mounts location, because 7th gen Accord has a full frame and and the 6th gen isn't. You will also need wiring harness for the tranny since it's a 5sp versus 4sp.

if people can swap a j30 into a honda del sol, believe me it can be swapped into a earlier gen accord.

search on honda-tech.com or hondaswap.com surely they have some answers. not much v6 love here, unfortunately.

No V6 Love? so sad! LOL....I love mine. But I'm so scared about my Tranny....I only have 77,000 miles on my 02 but I'm nervous about. But you'd think I could just spend some extra money and get a nice tranny instead of swapping everything. I mean is this motor that bad? is the tranny really that bad?
