Low RPM

i have a 96 Accord 2.7 v6. The problem is that, when i start up the ignition, it would start then it would cut off, i seen it on my Rpm gauge. its like, its not geting enough power. i started it again and pressed on the gas peddle and held it for about 5 seconds it stayed running, the parts i changed on it was:

battery
ignition wires
distributor Cap
Spark plugs

And the problem is still recurrenting. i need another opinion on this situation thank you

I had a similar problem with my BMW. Usually it's something to do with airflow; either the engine actually isn't getting enough air, or the mass airflow sensor isn't reading enough air, and chokes the engine. Check the wiring harness to the airflow sensor to make sure that it didn't accidentally come unplugged. I would also check the physical air intake too, so make sure that a clamp or hose didn't come loose.

maybe a solution to my Low RPMs

thank you nightbreeze for ur opinion. i did see that my intake tube was ripped from underneath were it connects to the engine, so i know that need to be replaced, but i also notice that the spring that connects to the throttle cable wasnt strong enough seem like its losing it tension. i started to play around with it and i got my RPM gauge to reach 1, a big improvement from a noch away from zero. but ima have both of those problems fix Thanks again for ur help

also check the alternator... might be a power deficiency and the spark plugs as well...(dirty)
