Default Mod on an h22

What are some good modification that would be real help in a horsepower gain for a jdm h22 in a 94 honda accord.

cam gears. with that DOHC setup you can really tune the cams with some cam gears. And make some serious HP.

the obvious ones are cold air intake and cat back exhaust, but I'm sure you know about those if you've got an H22.

if you have any intention of putting a turbo on it, sleeve the engine, inspite of what people say about the stock frm it wont hold up in the long run

but like mbo said, cam gears, upgrade the cams, and you dont want to put forged pistons in unless you sleeve. But yeah, theres plenty that you can do to an h22

u would need more than juss cam and cam gears, u need type S pistons unless u gonna go forge piston, also ported head and other stuff, personally i would go with turbo, money is slightly the same but the power for turbo is more....

turbo is definetly an option, you'll just need to keep the boost way down untill you can rip the motor open and put in new sleeves and forged pistons like marbro said.

Cam gears are a great and cheap way to really squeeze out some ponies though.

I think that is quite possibly the first time I have ever heard an H22 referred to as "sluggish." What year/model car do you have?
