Need help !!! Car won't start
I have 1990 Honda Accord LX with 150k.
The problem is my car won't start at all even though I tried to jumpstart many times. Mostly, it happened when the weather is hot (above 70 degree F). My friend told me that it would be alternator. I still couldn't figure out what happen to my car. Do you have any idea what's going on and what to do to fix this? Thank you |
RE: Need help !!! Car won't start
Sounds like the main relay, there is a how -to in the DIY section. Very common , a bit of a pain because it's way up in the dash but very doable

RE: Need help !!! Car won't start
it wont crank? or it wont start?
if it wont crank, then get the battery tested. if you have a dead cell, then sometimes a jump wont turn it over. if the battery is good, but it wont crank, then bang on the starter with a screwdriver and then try to start it. if it cranks but doesnt start, then main relay |

*blinks* bang on the starter with a screwdriver? is bang really a technical term?
