Oil leak after timing belt was replaced.

Just picked my 96 Accord up from the shop for a timing belt replacement at 200K miles. Anyway, got it home and after about an hour noticed a 4 inch spot of oil on the drive way under the timing belt cover. Also noticed that when I start up the car, the external belts squeal. Pretty p*&^ off about this since it cost $400 to do the work. Anyway, I will be calling up the shop tomorrow what happened. Does anyone want to take a guess as to why it is leaking oil not and not before.

Welcome new member!
I'd let them have a chance at that first, unless you just don't trust the shop. They may have disturbed a seal on one of the shafts. Hard to say unless you want to take the time to remove the timing covers & belts.

Well I took it into the shop again and they found that the counter balance seal was leaking so that replaced it. Brought it home and now I'm getting a high pitch wine from the same area. Hate to take it back but the sound was there before that replaced the timing belt.

You mean the sound was NOT there before?

High=pitched whine sounds like maybe the timing belt is too tight? Take it back again. FYI, that should be a real simple adjustment for them to do.
