RE: OIL PAN and GASKET

how are you doing shocker? ;)

first, you have to make sure it is leaking from the oil pan

you will need a new oil pan and a new gasket - cost around 150 for oil pan and 25 for gasket - prices may vary

Majestic Honda

heres a link from honda dealer with prices - I didn't know your model so you can play with the search and get the prices for your car --- those are dealer items.

the replacement is easy but must be careful, if you need advice i'll help you out.

it's recommended that when you replace and oil pan you put the bolts in exactly the same location where they previously were.

by buckled, do you mean that they over tightened the pan bolts so the points between the pans bolts flarred up and are allowing oil to leak out?

RE: OIL PAN and GASKET

Went and had it checked out tonight by a mechanic at a truck stop he says the problem is my gasket is showing from my oil pan? so all i need to do is change my gasket appearntly? so i'm gonna do an oil change at same time.... its just te gasket showing out i guess

RE: OIL PAN and GASKET

I see no problem wtih gasket sticking out a bit - if it's a liquid gasket that you apply when you take off the oil pan it's fine.

If there's no leak don't touch nothing - do an oil change if you're due.

If' you're still unhappy with that - and want to waste some of your time and money - I can give you some tips what to do ;)
