I would find another way for your friend to pay you back. Like...oh I dunno...get a job...give you money, help around the house/apt, stop being a mooch, etc

jobs aren't that easy to come by in this economy ..... unless you are an MEP engineer.

RE: port and polish HELP!!!!!

i told him that he could do this because he has asked if there was some way that he could do something on my car that i had wanted for awhile, and this is what i suggested. andthe poor guyhas a job, but has lost everything in a divorce, the only things he has are his tools, car and little girl.

coty has done several port and polish jobs, just none of them have ben on a honda, they have all been on small block cheveys.

so any kind of help would be nice rite now

Youll want the manifolds so he can port-match them. Then the question is which head has valve guides or valve seats that are in better shape. Or camshaft bearing journals. Or whatever...

You couldtake off YOUR head & compare them, then port/polish the best one. But then youll be swapping heads twice...

Yes there are, may not be something a person wants to do, but there are jobs out there.

ok. thank you, but my car cant be down for any length of time. i rolled my durango about two months ago, and had no insuriance... so i want to get the head , have him do the work, and the two of us will swap the heads, and replace the gaskets.

RE: port and polish HELP!!!!!

Thats fine. The only risk is the used head you buy may have worn bearings or ?? YMMV.

Bearings? In the head? There are no bearings in a honda head.
