This guy made 301whp on a dyno with 125 shot of Nitrous:

He got 189 without the nitrous.
He does not have a turbo.

im impressed. after reading thru the thread a bit, the guys had some good points. a 6th gen h22 swap isnt cheap at all, and putting parts into the F23 is indeed cheaper. the guy said he put about $2000 into the motor, while a H22 in a 6th gen might run around $4000. if both were free, i would still take the DOHC, 8k redlining H22 for an all motor car. However, if i had a motor that came stock with cast iron sleeves (like the F23) i would turbo it, not go NA.

Amen to that! I was kind of wondering why he didn't just turbo from the get-go, but I see he wants to keep the "sleeper" look and that would be prety hard to do if you got a big @$$ intercooler "blinging" through your front bumper.
I always wondered why everyone says the F23 is more durable than the H22 if you are turboing. You, sir, have just answered my question[sm=smiley20.gif]
