Is there any problem with my new 2009 Honda Accord LX auto?
 

Hi Guys,

I am new owner of an Accord. It is an 2009 Accord LX auto. I bought it one month ago. My test drive was not as I expect. The engine seemed not that powerful and acceleration was really bad, compared to my short experience with a used 2006 Accord LX. I thought the reason might be that it is new and need break-in.

Now, the car has 500 miles on it. It ran the same as I bought it! The acceleration is really bad and feels like civic with excessive noise. I look at the test drive review on Edmunds. It says that the acceleration for 2009 LX-P (same engine with LX) is 3.4s for 0-30mph and 9.1s for 0-60mph. I think my car can hardly get there.

So is there anything wrong with the engine?? Please help me with some hints.:(
