Timing Belt

Hey guys, I just wanted to visually check the condition of my timing belt. I got a 90ex with 230K k/m's. What can I do to check that out, there are no replacment stickers. Also when does the fuel pump usually go out? Should I replace that and the filter at this milage?
Oh and here's my Baby...

Determining the age of a timing belt by inspecting it is pretty sketchy. The ones I had ('95 GSR & '98 Accord) looked pretty good even when I changed them.

Not what I wanted to hear, considering the thousands I already spend...

Sorry... If you want to try inspecting it, look at the inside of the belt, where it's teeth are. Checkfor tiny hairline cracks at the base of each tooth.

I'm just not very confident that those cracks will show upearly enough to make inspection worthwhile. Do you want to inspect it every week or 2?

What do you know about the history of the car? Obviously if you had a receipt for a timing-belt job you wouldn't be asking this question... If the belt was changed at a dealer, then maybe any other dealer can look it up by VIN? If it was done at a non-dealer shop or done at someone's home, then ????

K thanks for the good info, I'll have a look once it warms up outside. I will also check with a dealer.
