transmission fliud
 
i am doing a transmission fluid service soon and wondering if i should do a transmission fluid flush or a regular drain and fill? whats the difference? which one is better?

Drain and fill. Use honda tranny fluid.

I agree,,,,, use Honda ATF-Z1
Go to the DIY section read up on ( flush sytem a big no no )

i just found out from the honda dealer than my car was flushed at 102,000 miles at their dealer. i asked them is it bad for my transmission and the guy say no!!...right now may car has 106,000. so whats all this things that people saying about flushing the transmission is bad? i'm really confused right now.

If your car was flushed at 102,000 then why would you do another one 4,000 miles later. I think the dealer recommends every 15,000 or so. Well atleast that is what it is for my car......

otsb is correct .. if it only has been 4k miles ,, you DO NOT need to do anything with tranny fluid for at least another 15-25k miles and then just drain and refill
