Transmission fluid

I realize that this topic has been discussed a lot and I have read many of the threads but I think my situation may be a little different. I purchased my 1999 Accord new and I have always serviced everything well except the transmission. The car now has 225,000 miles and has never had a transmission fluid change. It has always remained at the full mark and never had any added. It still looks like brand new fluid and has no smell except the normal new hydraulic smell. The transmission still shifts great and I only notice a very slight jerk occasionally when it shifts up and down from 4th to 5th out on the road.If it is in cruise control it never does it. My question is should I just leave the fluid be or go ahead and do a drain-and fill (3 quarts)?

It never hurts to do a drain and fill with Honda transmission fluid. It only hurts if you do a flush since a flush will mess up the internals.

Only use Honda transmission fluid.

Thanks Holmes. I ordered a case of Honda fluid today and I plan to do 3 or 4 drain & fill procedure in the near future.
