Unorthodox Pulley on 98 V-6Accord?

I have a 98 3.0 L V6 Accord... I was wondering if it's worth the time/money/power to put on an Unorthodox Pulley that my friend had on his 98 accord? Is unorthodox a reliable brand? Are their any cons to doing this? Also, I would need to buy the belts for it, where can i find the size i would need? It has P/N 0206110 REV N/A inscribed in it, are the numbers useful???? Sorry if these questions seems a little dumb, but thanks for the help

RE: Unorthodox Pulley on 98 V-6Accord?

good questions really, unorthodox is one of the top brands for lightweight/underdrive pulley's, whether or not you need a new belt depends on which type he has, is it the SS series, OEM Series or what.... Unorthodox does make some that are stock size (diameter) thus use a stock belt but still give you gains through weight reduction, if it's that type there are no downsides, if it's a smaller (underdrive) pulley then your a/c, alternator, and other components will spin a bit slower, not really a big deal unless you've got a fairly large stereo system, take that part number and call or look it up on their website www.unorthodoxracing.com
