It really should always crank and turn over just crank is cranking was, but nothingwhatsoever. My question is about the neutral safety switch. I have the Haynes manual is electrical just electrical diagram BUT its sparse. How can I start the attempt car even if one of the connections is say loose (the ground parking system). I know the starter work is enough! …

Is this the 4 or 6 cyl engine?

There should only be two connections to the starter. The large positive cable, held on with a nut. Then a small wire that is a female spade connector.

I'm a bit confused by your post and not 100% sure what is going on - trust me it is me and not you.

What you can do, pull the small wire from the starter - the spade connector. As someone tries to start the car, check the voltage of the small wire. Are you getting ~12v on it?
