Hi, I have 2005 A Honda is Accord year of the 2005. I replaced the starter; however there are three connecting pieces. Is this the 4 or 6 cyl engine?
There should only be two connections to the starter. The large positive cable, held on with a nut. Then a small wire that is a female spade connector. I'm a bit confused by your post and not 100% sure what is going on - trust me it is me and not you. What you can do, pull the small wire from the starter - the spade connector. As someone tries to start the car, check the voltage of the small wire. Are you getting ~12v on it? |
