Voltage Stabilizer + Air vortex generator?

Hi , i would like to increase a little performance on my Accord 1996 EX. i'm just doing it for fun ,so don't expect me to get a turbo or something lol, canada laws are very limited.
[ul][*]I think of getting a new short ram air intake soon along with a pipe (to replace the stock intake & pipe)[*]New muffler[*]Air Razor vortex generator[*]Voltage Stabilizer[/ul]

My question is ... Does Air Razor Vortex Generator really help save gas and increase horsepower??Voltage Stabilizer the same? Thanks ! These product are very cheap .... (Barely 20$ for Razor & 35$ Stabilizer)

Thanks for your time guys.

Short ram intake and better muffler = good idea.

Air Razor Vortex crap wheel = guaranteed sham.

Voltage Stabilizer? I dont know for sure, but I dont generally trust anything that makes the claims they do but costs so little. If it seems too good to be true... you know the rest.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I think these things may even screw up your car in the long run. If anything, they look like they would actually restrict airflow.

As far as the "voltage stabilizer" I would not trust it. 1st of all, I wouldn't thinksomething like that shouldonly cost a mere $10. Here is a page from tasautoparts that has a Voltage stabilizer on it: http://www.secureleadercom.com/exsto...nuStatus=block
As you can see, the one on that site costs $75. I could be wrong though, but I wouldn't trust it. I have seen a lot of posts on the forum that saynot to trust "JDM" ebay parts.

Short ram better or cold air?

You will see many mixed opinions on this one. Type it in to the search engine on the forum and you will be sure to find the opinions. If you are looking for the easiest install & maintenance, I would say short ram. CAI is supposed to get you maybe 1 or 2 more HP than SAI, but you may want to get a $50 bypass valve if youlive somewhere that it rains a lot. I haven't gotten one yet, but I think I am going to go with anSRI.

short vs cold is all about where u live... if its cool where u live go short if its warm go cold air...

as for the votex and the voltage...

vortex... only good on a carb... the intake charge does not care if its swirling or not on fuel injection... it just goes where it needs to and then gets some fuel ATOMIZED by the injector shot onto it... into the cylinder and bam

now on a carb... the air goes into a venturi and then sucks (because of the low pressure in the intake AKA vacuum) the fuel into it... this is very bad at atomizing and flowing... so we spin it... think of what happens when u have 2 bottles connected... have one about halfway full then turn it over... it goes... clug clug clug clug... and final transfers the water over... if u spin it... it sucks down almost instantly...

end and all votex... carb good FI bad...

NOW! to this voltage stabilizer...

DONT DO IT!... its retarded... whats it going to do... ur car runs at sooooo many different voltages depending on whats going on with it... when its running... 14.5ish... and that varies between RPM (from 12.7-15) when its not running 12.7 constant... when ur starting 10ish... cars are DESIGNED to handle voltage adjustments... anything between 8-17 will make a car run fine! the only thing that is BETTER would be a ground harness... they are great at what they do... which is basically give u a perfect chassis ground... much more power (stock vehicles can gain 1-15 HP just by grounding out ignition and other systems better... (NEVER try to give ur fuel injectors a better ground... thats how the PCM controls them... so if ya grounded them... they would have a 100% duty cycle

don't waste your time......the car's electrical system ia already properly designed (unlike the german cars :P )

so what youre saying is maybe installing one of these would actually help and do pretty much what the description says?

try lookin ata like Apex-i or Buddy Club volt stabilizer/ground kit module. they run a few hundred or so, but worth every penny. ESPECIALLY if u have amps, subs, etc (large amp devices).
